It has a fresh cut flower, melon and sea breeze scent followed by grapefruit, tonic water and a hint of white peach flavors. The scent and palate provide an interesting contrast, but the palate by itself is somewhat linear.

Dull gray straw; nose of lemon, minerals, under ripe peach, melon rind, lemon pith, some almond, smells dry; good intensity, nice acidity, crisp, medium - body; food friendly, easy drinking white that's well made- no complaints here.

- Light gold color with fast forming legs and aromas of orange blossom, geranium and peach. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of peach and lemon with a light body. Narrow texture with a short finish.

Quintessential & Quixotic; 3/30/2013-3/31/2013 (Scott & Todd's) : I remember liking this yesterday but I didn't get much time to spend with it. Today it presents very well, although generally uncomplicated and indistinguishable from other Soaves I've happened to try. I like the light lychee nose and the palate that integrates tarragon, vanilla, lemon cheesecake, pebbles and melon; has a round, polished texture but closes clean and fresh. Once again Lorenza's Italian selections impress.

Very light in colour (a little greenish) Nose: lemon, zest, yarrow and wet stone Taste: lemon and grape with some bitter marmelade. Good attack and not a bad finish. Not elegant or complex, but good drinking with fresh, sharp acid, good fruit and a touch of bitterness. I had with a sallad nicoise and it worked very well.

Interesting wine that I almost really liked. It features vibrance and crispness. The layered palate is intriguing. There's a minor, fleeting distracting element between the attack and mid-palate. The back shows really nice chalkiness reminiscent of good Rheingau Riesling, and the finish lingers nicely.

solid and interesting. worth $12 for sure. Lively acidity nicely balanced with a combo of citrus and orchard flavors. Not a one note wine.
