Airfield Estates Sangiovese Vineyard Salute Ruby Rosé

Rosé blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache. Soft and supple nose yields kiwi and strawberry aromas. Strawberry and kiwi flavors continue onto the medium-bodied with a nice caramel note mid-palate. Good acidity and a crisp medium length finish. Good QPR. Definitely a heavier styled rosé. Really nice overall!

Color is dark for a rose', quite a bit darker than what I was expecting from a Syrah rose'. Nose had watermelon and Bazooka Joe bubble gum Palate was clean with good acid but a bit unbalanced on the finish. Body was medium to heavy for a rose'. Summing it up, a reasonable wine for summer from Washington state although a bit too much skin contact for my taste in a rose'.
