Crimson in color with some bricking at the edge of the glass. 13% ABV. Elegant nose of red fruits, leather, cedar and wet leaves. Medium body with perfect acidity. Well balanced and approachable with supple fruits. Currants, cassis, plums and tobacco on the palate. Nice length on the finish with notable tannins. This drank well without decanting but a few hours in a decanter would not hurt. Best over the next 5-7 years. I'll check in on another bottle in …

Medium-dark garnet with just a hint of brick at the rim. Nice nose of black currant, charred wood/campfire and mint. Med-bodied, this is supple and round while still tannic enough for beef, flavors of red currant, tomato, oak and mint. Drink now - 2030 93 T says 92

Clear deep ruby/garnet; clean medium plus nose of leather, barnyard, fall cracked leaves, cigar box and dried strawberries; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus to pronounced flavour intensity; pfn with addition of black licorice; long finish; sadly my last bottle; bought as a new release for $62 and I’ve enjoyed its evolution for 15+ years; that said, I’d suggest drinking up; matched perfectly with dry aged bacon-wrapped filet

Nothing special. Same notes as my last notes 8 years ago. No improvement.

Coravin - Still young appearance but starting to fade. Drinkable but may improve with a few more years. Drink or hold.

45 min decant, lighter and thinner than Duhart, more acidic, tannins less fine. Felt like a cooler vintage, less ripeness. More red fruit than black or blue. Mid secondary notes, tertiary just blooming. Enjoy now.

Previous notes from the community are about right, but this wine deserves some nuance. I had forgotten that I had it in the cellar and was delighted, when I first opened it, to smell and taste how it had developed. For the first 1-2 hours it presented as a well rounded mature Bordeaux with an interesting bouquet and a palate that was full, round, well-balanced, and smooth. Then it began to go downhill, become simpler and sharper. So ... pop …

CdB MN Spring Event (Minneapolis Club, Mpls, MN) : Very dark red/purple color. Drank a glass over 90 minutes. Splash double decanted and slow-O for 2 hours. Tighter, lighter, and more linear, especially compared to the '03 side by side; cassis, pencil, oak, some coarse tobacco, a little damp earth, austere with quite firm tannins. There's room for some improvement here with time and more air.

Medium to medium deep carmine/maroon. Mild cassis, some gentle cedar notes. Medium bodied, nice balance, good acidity, good length. Proper luncheon claret, in other words. Very correct Bordeaux, but not getting me too excited. Happy to drink it, but not exactly clamoring for another glass.

Dark cherries and berries on the nose which play secondary to plenty of cedar and some graphite, as others noted. The barnyard/hay comes out initially, but fades as you continue through a glass. A touch of acid and very well integrated tannins at this point. They only serve as a pleasant, lingering reminder of your sip at this point. Long, tasty finish as should be expected. This is most likely at or close to its peak, as I can't imagine …

World Cup final BBQ : Quite a high percentage of Merlot (44%) that might have contributed to the sweet fruit. Very soft and luscious fruit, tannins were quite smoothed out. Didn't get a sense of place for this, thought modern right bank.

After trying a disappointing 2008 Talbot. This Clerc Milon is pretty good. No formal tasting note. Other community comments are very correct, so I won't repeat them.

Dark berries, cedar, licorice, vanilla, graphite, laurel and a touch of sweet spices in the bouquet. Same on the palate, juicy fruits, beautiful acidity and tannin with a pleasant bite. Touch of sweetness as well. Beautiful wine still in its youthful maturity stage.

Very attractive, floral nose, with bright red cherry and hints of roses amid the cigar box and cassis. A bright attack too, light on its feet, featuring red cherry and redcurrant, before more classical blackcurrant and a silky middle section of dark raspberry, before a fairly persistent finale of crisp blackberry and blackcurrant. With the same elegance and silkiness as the 2000, but with less intensity, this is not a blockbuster nor a truly memorable Pauillac, just a very classically …

A well balanced Bordeaux that does not have dominant flavors. It is a soft balance of berries and cedar and petrol/tar. A fine wine with hard cheeses and good bread or crackers. Doubt it would stand up to a meal with any strong flavors. Very pleasant and will be my go to cheese plate wine till gone.
