Kaufmann Riesling Tell

German Rieslings (Vinotheque Briedé, Frankfurt, Germany) : Medium yellow. A gorgeous and pronounced nose of grapefruit flowers, rose petals, rhubarb with cream or cookie dough but I’m not describing this well - it’s almost into olive. What an alluring scent! And a hint at future petrol minerality too. The dry palate does not follow up the nose with a potent flavor profile but it does suggest a lovely balance of sweet and acidic grapefruit. A long, refreshing finish. 93 points
