Olivier Leflaive Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Dent de Chien

A private dinner (Restaurant Taiko, Amsterdam, NL) : Opened at 2pm, double decanted at 4.30pm, served at 9pm. Two barrels produced, all bottled into 300 magnums. This really needed the decanting time to integrate the oak. When the bottle was just opened, the oak was very present, almost sticking out a bit, but when it was served at dinner, it was barely noticeable anymore, revealing the silky finesse which reminds us that we are effectively in Grand Cru territory.
