Transparent ruby red. Has a good dose of wood and leather on the nose with a floral/berry thing. Medium-light body, good woody cherry flavors followed by some minerality, earth, and leather. Great everyday chianti, imagine it would go well with a variety of Italian dishes. Easy drinker, good QPR.

This might be the most powerfully smelling wine I have ever experienced. Right from the time of opening the bottle, I was practically assaulted by the smell of ripe fruits, and the intense aroma did not clear out as one might expect.
