Exceptional, everything I would want in a Chardonnay. I think this has a lot of life left in it as well. Still plenty of acidic backbone along with great fruit and a nearly perfect mouthfeel. Wish I had more!

tropical profile, papaya, orange marmalade, yellow peach, round and somewhat rich, alcohol not obtrusive. A fine wine from this site. Ehran makes good decisions and this wine is on the more flamboyant end of the stable of Failla chards.

Lemon, stone, a bit of orange peel. Moderate complexity and medium acidity, and a very mild level of oakiness.

Drank on a super hot, humid evening. We tried to get this extra cold before we consumed, but it quickly warmed in our glasses. Wanted to like this wine more than we actually liked it - at this price. Pale gold coloring; opened with some funky hay on the nose, which evolved to hints of green and Mellon. Flavors of yellow apple and citrus. Nice and dry, with more acidity than fruit or oak. It was fine for a $20 bottle of Chard. Low QPR.

Not great - unremarkable Chardonnay

Even though they've made it for 26 years this will be the last vintage. Some big rich fruit on the nose here. Bill notes really floral but to me kinda flat actually. A bit plump and rounded. Apparently this is less unctuous than it has been in the last couple of vintages.
