Clos Pegase Origami Napa Valley

Some chocolate, mixed berries, almost resolved tannins, a little pencil lead, and what I think is petit verdot on the finish. Very nice for the price!

Aerated and decanted one hour. Nice Bordeaux style blend with dark fruit, moderate tannin and medium body. Excellent wine for the price.

This bottle showed a lot of chocolate/mocha with a sweet edge. Big mouth and heavy finish

This bottle struck me as quite unsettled. Tons of nice big dark fruit and a sharp tang on the mid-palate. The finish was medium with vanilla and a touch of oak; light tannins were there but very much in the back of flavors.

This bottle of wine had the misfortune of following a huge fruity and powerful (95 pt) wine. It did stand up nicely, but I make the comment because It may have been negatively impacted since my mouth was recovering from tasting near perfection. This wine is a medium plus body and has a lot of nice berry fruit on the front and in the nose. It is a touch sweet on the tongue and there are some nice light fruits …

Absolutely drinkable. Nothing spectacular, but solid $15 drinker. Nice dark fruit flavors, mild oak notes and nicely balanced finish.

For $15 a bottle, definitely drinking up in its class. Good dense structure, lots of fruit. Good easy drinker.

not bad at the WTSO price point of $15, but not brilliant either. have to think this doesn't represent the Clos Pegase label very well

PNP. Nice Tuesday night drinker. Mouthful of plum, currant, vanilla and dusty loam. Medium acidity and modest tannins. Nice finish.
