Le Mistral Vineyard Joseph's Blend

A nice gift. Solid GSM. Syrah did not stand out for me like other notes. Grenache seemed to dominate for me with softer voluptuous notes. Not particularly complex but very nice to drink with dinner or after around the fire.

2nd btl a year later, same MO- Syrah hits you first then it gets med - and slightly loose at the end Hey it’s a cheap drinker- it works Think cheap CDR and you’ll be a happy camper.

The cork was fine, but the wine was fizzy and very acidic... Had to open another bottle which fortunately was fine.

Few hour slow ox. Deep magenta color. Green peppers, cherry, and cranberry. Dry palate, with good acidity. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the medium finish. 48% Grenache, 39% Syrah, 13% Mourvèdre Simple, easy drinker. More green than I like. Tried this at a friend’s party. Not something I would buy myself.

A nice blend here, seems the Syrah is most noticeable on the nose, it had some nice nuances front to back, enjoyable. Drink now w with decant thru 2026/7 A rebuy

Soft, easy going, not as bold as I would have thought.

The Syrah dominates this one. ON the nose, with the black fruit. But then the mid palate softens it out a bit. Good acidity, again, even though the Syrah isn't the largest portion
