5 years since the last bottle. Definitely matured quite a bit, particularly on the nose where there’s less freeshness and crisp and more of the deep citrus fruit, almost grilled/smoked and with a honey and/or oily nuance to it. Green herbs and walnuts. Some dried tropical fruit as well. The palate got great energy and still a vibrant acidity. Lots of life left if you’re willing to compromise on freshness of the fruit profile. Hard to say when I’ve enjoyed …

Classic matchstick reduction on the nose upon opening, which eventually blew off revealing some of the fruit. Felt like the fruit was quite shy but this was insanely complex on the palate with a long long finish. Quite amazing and really happy to taste it with age.

A nice, subtle Chardonnay from the Jura, and identifiably so blind. When I drank, I found it much more subtle than other tasters seem to have. On the nose mostly crustacean, low key sea breeze, withdrawn. On the palate briny, with lemon and green apples and some Jura spiciness, a little chalky. Very drinkable and elegant but far from the kind of impressiveness I expected based on reputation and secondary market pricing of hundreds of euros.

Monthly Boys' Wine Night (Eric's House, Hong Kong) : Silver-green in colour...very pale. Nose is powerful.. almost like a cattle stable of white straw and some Comte in there too. Palate is crisp and fresh with a lot of power on the swallow. Rustic but in a good well-made way. Almost like a light Sake. Victor from Caprice brought this. Apparently the only bottle in Hong Kong. Allegedly, it sells for Euros 650 per bottle. Annoyingly, I can start to …

Haven't moved significantly since last tasting in 2015. Still electricity in a bottle, lemon, orange peel and lots of pineapple in various shapes. Superb acidity, definitely still young and with a intoxicating twang at the finish. Surprised how little development it has picked up, very high potential here and setting the drinking window to 2023-2025 for my last bottle. For me the '13 is the vintage that stands out 2011-2014.

Has the stink. Serious intensity of fruit, clarity and minerality.

Kelley Jura. Wow wine, the measure of Cote d'Or grand cru. Classic matchstick reduction. Full, persistent and really quite complete.

PNP with decantation: Golden to the eyes, fresh pronounced nose of orchard fruits, smoky and very slightly oxidative adding to the overall complexity. On the palate highly mineral with bright acids to underpin the slightly less fruity (compared to nose) flavours. Elegant style of Jura Savagnin. A bit painful to taste this at such a young stage of this wine, complexity is already there but more points may be awarded based on the potential in 5-10 years. 91 points?

Lemon, lime, grass, the characteristic smoky minerality you often find in the Mizuiro and other whites from Jura. Crisp and clean, very good. Very young on the palate, lively acidity dominates. Lemon and Granny Smith-apples. Not so different from '13, huge potential and still so wonderful to drink already. Love the style.

Dusty yellow, great looking in the glass. Typical Jura-minerality, smoky and dusty. Lemon, orange, pineapple, white flowers and a lovely note of creamy white chocolate. Some development on the nose compared to last bottle, more weight and depth. Really good. Young and energetic acidity on the palate, lemon, chives, grass, green herbs. A little sting in the aftertaste that constantly makes you reach for the glass. Drinks fine already but I will try to forget about remaining bottles as long …

Lemon, white flowers, pineapple liquid, coconut and minerality. Clean and crisp nose. On the palate almost totally driven by lemon and a young fine acidity. Almost Ganevat-ish on the palate apart from the more moderate acidity in the Mizuiro. Quite long finish and highly drinkable, will probably develop nicely the coming 5-10 years.
