brilliant focus of lemon curd and grilled peaches and sulfur paired with grilled onions. had enough body to stand up to red meat.

Enjoyed this. Still light in color, only the faintest golden hue. Expressive on both the nose and palate. The acidity is there, but not incisive. This is more about the fruit, which leans heavily towards the tropical/mangoey side of things. There's also a particular aspect to this wine that I can't put my finger on, something I've noticed with other rieslings from this vineyard, not spiciness.. but something along that vein. Seems to be drinking well now, but plenty of …

Drinking well now, but should have some time and further development in front of it too. Fruit and minerality are still prominent and it's developed a nice petrol-like nose.

Very pleasant. Still going strong. No need to drink up quite yet, but it's in a good place.

Consumed over two nights-- much better on the second night, and my score reflects day 2. Peach, tropical fruits, slate on the nose; peach, guava, slate, acid, rich mouthfeel, decent balance and finish. It does not taste 9 years old. Wait 5+ years?

One bottle was stellar, which encouraged me to open the other. Wouldn't you know it the second bottle was BADLY corked. Well, the wine is capable of great things from a proper bottle. Great acid, lovely ripe (almost tropical) fruit, a wonderful steely edge keeps it alive and well. This will go a long time.
