Had out to dinner with Sofia. Service was slow so I popped and poured, once we got some wine glasses. Past its prime. We tried and though it wasn't horrible, it was definitely over the hill. We let it set for awhile but it didn't improve. Guess I pushed the cellaring time too long. Will use it to make wine vinegar.

Popped and poured at my WLIT party. Did not have time to decant. Good deep purple color. Did not take note of the nose. Ripe fruit flavors including some blackberry, prune, and tobacco notes. Very enjoyable. Happy that I have two more bottles to savor. If you have any, drink it up and enjoy.
