This bottle (lot #BR192128TW) is a blend of 61% Pinot Noir and 39% Chardonnay, sourced entirely from Grand Cru vineyards. The base vintage is 2018, supplemented with reserve wine from the 2013 and 2017 vintages. Disgorged December 2022, it was given a dosage of 6 g/l. Primary fermentation was entirely in stainless steel. Medium golden in color, it sports a brisk tiny bead and offers an intense aromatic array of mandarin oranges, baked apples, lemon verbena, hazelnuts, brioche and marzipan. …

Beautiful and enjoyable. Shorter finish, but more complex than others we’ve tried.

Very nice champagne sourced from all grand cru vineyards. Great aroma right out of the bottle. Well balanced and very enjoyable. Great value for a grand cru. Will buy again.

Retail $55. 55% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay. 100% Grand Cru from Louvois, Bouzy, and Ambonnay on the Montagne de Reims. Hmmm. My lovely wife bought two bottles of this champagne from Total Wine and while many of the previous notes are similar, there is a decided austerity, even metallic aspect to this bottle that renders it, well, just OK. Over the course of several decades drinking and tasting the wines of Champagne, I have not experienced as much (and as …

Retail $55. 55% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay. 100% Grand Cru from Louvois, Bouzy, and Ambonnay on the Montagne de Reims. Another bottle procured by my lovely wife while I was away, this has a lovely near golden straw color and fine sparkle in the glass. Tart green apple is all but pushed aside by the yeasty, nutty aromas that make this wine particularly inviting (3-4 years of on the lees aging). The palate is rich, layered, and particularly reminiscent of …

Straw like color. Not too many bubbles. Bright green apple, pear, almond with low to medium acidity. The green apple on this really shines. Has some complexities and is very enjoyable. Opened up over about 2 hours
