C: Light gold N: Sugar, sweet shop pick & mix, honey, gravel dust swirling around on a hot day P: Attack of honey, gravel and some rough oak. Mid palate of extremely acidic citrus fruit. What a drastic transition. Long, surprisingly long, finish of buttery popcorn, just slightly over popped / singed popcorn. Unfortunately no fruit on the finish. Very nice bottle. Modern in style, but with decent acidity and good balance. Not especially complex, but a pleasure nonetheless. I can only see this getting worse with bottle age.
