Bottle #12779 of 34‘132, disgorged 23 December 2009. The wine was medium yellow-gold in colour, with light, fine perlage. It offered apple, intense brioche, fire stone and smoke aromas on the nose and palate, with creamy mousse, lively acidity and superb length of the smoky, almond-infused and pleasantly bitter finish. Much fresher than last bottle. Great Cava!

Bottle #12783 of 34‘132, disgorged 23 December 2009. The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour, with light, medium-fine perlage. It offered some dried stone fruit, biscuit and firestone aromas on the nose. On the palate the wine showed apple, some dried stone fruit, biscuit, nuts, firestone and smoke, with creamy mousse, lively medium-plus acidity, a good mouthfeel and very good length of the honey-infused finish. Bottle #12782 of 34‘132, disgorged 23 December 2009. This was the second time I came across this vintage of this bottling and the experience was as worthwhile as the first encounter about a year ago! The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour, with light, medium-fine perlage. It offered dried stone fruit, peach jam, biscuit, honey and smoke on the nose. On the palate the wine showed peach, apple, melon, biscuit, honey, firestone and smoke, with creamy mousse, lively, medium-plus acidity, …

Bottle #3160 of 34‘132, disgorged 27 January 2010. The wine was pale yellow-golden in colour, with fine, medium-intense perlage. It offered peach jam, apple, lemon effervescent powder, honey and biscuit on the nose. On the palate the wine showed peach, some melon, apple, lemon effervescent powder, honey, almond paste and biscuit, paired with powerful, creamy mousse, lively medium-plus acidity and incredible length of the honey-dominated aftertaste. Medium-bodied, balanced, youthful and fresh. Delicious! Great sparkling wine; a killer!
