No formal note. In nice condition. Hay strong at first and the acidity seemed mellowed but soon gave way to fruit and the acidity freshened up. Nice stuff. Could be further aged without a doubt.

Very nice nose of smoke, pear, underripe peach, flowers, earth, lemon, rubber cement, and a little apple. Lemon, crunchy peach, earth, pear, and spice on the palate. Lemony acidity, good finish. Overall, this was a nice fragrant, dry white which at 12% abv worked well at dinner.

Beautiful clear golden hue, nose of honey & spice. Little residual aromas of oak chips may be detected. Consistency of honey water, light ot medium acidity, medium body with a nice balance. A slight bit herbaceous in its medium, slightly acidic finish. Not exceedingly interesting, yet not a wine that can do any wrong. Overall a nicely balanced wine, good for degustation.

Crisp and flinty wine that was refreshing and bright. Perfect for a summer evening and some roasted chicken.

Half bottle. Perfectly decent, quite ripe and rounded but with a streak of minerality. Obviously lacks the complexity of Rocca etc, but decent for what it is. **1/2

I thought this was very nice. Melon, and lemon rind nose with nutty, minerally notes. Crisp, minerally, pithy citrus palate. Went well with antipasti.

Pale straw color with a light floral nose. Fruit forward and full on the mouth with a dry, crisp finish. Pear and honeysuckle predominate.

Straw yellow color. Lively and sunny nose of apple and citrus fruits. Light body, dry, refreshing and acidic palate with almost prickly sensation on the tongue. Green apple, herbs, straw, minerality and faint, sweet honeyed notes on the palate. Mineral, herbaceous and elegant finish with nice length. Very classy and balanced. Excellent with avocado-pesto-risotto. Fairly good QPR at 13,71€.

Nez sur l'herbe fraîchement coupé. Bouche simple et rafraîchissante ave une certaine amertume. Un très bon blanc pour l'été!

Smells fruity and a bit acidic. Taste is very fruity again, apricots with some spiciness. Had this bottle on christmas dinner with my family. Supposedly a white that goes well with ham as well. Had lots of different kinds fish with it as well: smoked salmon, brined Atlantic herring and Finnish herring in a sauce of cream and its own roe. While it went excellently with the fish and was good with the ham as well, it's not the best …

WSET II; 10/23/2010-10/24/2010 (Portland, ME) : Pale-medium lemon color. Low-medium intensity aroma. Lemon-lime with bitter orange on the finish. High acidity, medium-light body, medium finish. good to very good.

Lemon with green edges. Clean nose with fruit (grapefruit, apples & apricot) and orange blossom. Dry palate, light body, slight fruit with an almond like edge. Medium length. Doesn't say much to me but then again never been a big fan of Soaves.

Straw yellow. Pear, apple, kumquat and dried pineapple on the nose with complementing notes of hay and almonds. Dry and rather fullbodied on the palate with carrying acidity and a somewhat richer and more oily feel than with the recent vintages. Melon, cucumber peel and some grapefruity bitterness. Spicy and minerally finish with good length and prominent weight. Feels pretty serious. Paired well with the most delicious porcini risotto (that my fiancée had prepared and this honestly is one of …
