The nose is rich with yellow plums, white flowers and oak; with time in the glass, the oak seems less prominent and aromas of wax and confectionery emerge. The mouth is less interesting, with no major defect but no great quality either; a bit on the flabby side. Frankly undistinguished and somewhat anonymous. Did not do justice to our black sole. Not a repeat purchase.

I don't know why this does not show up as Pernand-Vergelesses when searching, since the appellation seems to have been entered correctly in the database. 13.5% alcohol.
