Vertical. Aroma more muted than 2017. Slight vegetal. Violet. Increasing spicy over 2017. Finish is overripe, almost rotten blackberry.

Nice fruit, light on it’s feet, great balance. Surprisingly, the tannins started to really show 2 hours in. Did the fruit fade? I don’t think so, but it got more stringent over the second and third hour. Nevertheless, this was a very nice drink, it went well with bison burgers.
