Medium to a dark garnet colored. Very impressive nose with ripe raspberries, violets, blueberries and some soft cocoa notes. On the palate a fruit explosion with lots of ripe red and dark berries, a serious black pepper note, some apricot notes and beautiful sweet limestone notes. Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France) : As much as I love the Clos du Chateau, this is a step up. Energetic pure black fruit, very floral, mocha and limestone. Very silky, already showing a lot of finesse. Really sexy wine.
