Mogano. Smalto, cera d’api, miele di castagno, fumo, garam masala, cacao, tamarindo, carruba. Dolce, intenso, mielato, con grande persistenza

This is lovely with its tawny hue, antique smells, fruit and nut complexity and a touch of saline in the mouth.

Mahogany. Nose reminds of dried figs, dates and walnut. Sweet in the mouth, yet revived and balanced by a crisp acidity. which helps mitigating the strong alcohol.

Acidity like a Madeira, some nuts, burned/caramel, figs and prunes; lovely acidy which balances the sweetness, nuts and dried fruits. Very refreshing and lingering.

Fantastic showing again - with chocolate mousse. Very lively, will go on for decades.

Like all great wines, no description can do it justice. Mahogany colour. On the nose and palate, rich and porty but with bright acidity and the most perfect match for chocolate I have ever found. This is like a cross between tawny port and malmsey. No hurry to drink this at all. A complete bargain too.
