This smells great. Some light reductive notes. Complex. Quite rich and round, with saline accents. I like the smell and taste a lot, but it is a bit too big and fat for me. I don't have a lot of experience with this type of wine. Will it shed some baby fat with age? If so, I would love to try this much later in life.

Drinking super well already. Big, bold, and beautiful. Not your trendy reduced style. The oak was there but quite well integrated. A throwback to white burgundy's past. It's pretty pricey for a Meursault villages but this had 1er cru length and power if not depth.

This was very nice. Young but approachable fruit and a long, somewhat buttery finish, without being overdone. Nose a little closed. 93-94

NOTK Bring Your Own Bottle dinner (NOTK, Rotterdam) : Obviously young, but quite approachable already. Old style Meursault in the sense that it is rather big and bold, although elegantly done as it is nowhere over the top. Slightly reductive, rich, serious amount of (high quality) oak, anise, caramel, minerality. Medium+ acidity, long finish. 91-92 From 70 year old vines, 60% new oak for 18-20 months. Annually 600-900 bottles produced. Interesting to try once, but QPR wise not your best …
