Surprised this held up so well. Nice slightly oxidized Chard. Butterscotch and nutty notes to accompany the pear, apple, citrus. It took a while to open up, but then quite nice.

My kind of Chardonnay. Aromas of lemon and light spices. The taste is light oak, nutty and slightly creamy with a good balance of minerality. Like a lemon smoothy with a ginger kick.

Another upgrade for what is sadly my last bottle. I hate overly oaky Chardonnay. I wonder if some of the previous comments don't stem from what I see as the most common mistake made with white wine these days....drinking it too early (as well as too cold). Oh well, to each their own.

Consistent with previous note. This is my favorite California Chardonnay. I do recommend serving at cellar temp rather than chilled. Delicious! Previous: Beautiful golden straw color. Flowers and honeysuckle bouquet. Peach and mango flavors are rich and round but there is adequate acidity to feel crisp and clean on the finish. Outstanding "on the deck in 80 degree Heaven" wine.

Classic Cali styled Chardonnay.. with a nice nutty, caramelized apple, brulee sugar finish.. gotta say, I love this once in a while... so rich, opulent and almost over the top... kinda like a fun treat in contrast to the many serious wines that cross my palate each week... well made and priced fairly.. a good option for those who enjoy Chateau St. Jean Reserve, Landmark Overlook, Rombauer, and other icons in the genre.. it's very good for what it is …

Really nice chardonnay. Had a sour aspect to the nose, almost like urine. Lots of lemon peel. On the palate, lemons, little oak and butter to the finish but not over the top. Really appreciated that this is unlike many California chards that are over-oaked and buttery. Had great acidity that made this a very crisp and clean chard.
