Funny, at three days open without refrigeration I still kinda liked it.

Saline and brine notes coupled with fruit, a bit wiser, a bit fuller, I can see it at $9.99.

Creamy nuttiness. Works at $12.99.

Smells a bit earthy. The back end is fruity, maybe a touch of RS. Works at $12.

Pleasant. Not a real thought provoker though.

Very pale straw color. Fresh honey dew melon, lemon, mineral flavors. Fairly light body, very approachable, an easy drinker.

salonish seaside expression off the nose. not that fruity in the nose. but a leaner papaya comes to mind. lemon pith. palate is also rather mineral dominated. palate texture of the feel of the flesh of starfruit. a shine to the fruit texture. palate shows a nutty/floral subtlety. very good QPR @ $13.99.

a bright crushed seashell, creaminess in the nose. bright and fuzzy minerality. palate shows much confidence at the dinner table. i like how this wine is put together and it's crying for sweet corn.

One of the oldest wineries in the region apperently, and most stays in Italy. They started exporting in '49. They wanted to make some Verdiichio with some body. Macrina is the manifestation of that that was first produced in the 1970s. Macrina was apperently the first and then Bucchi? With the chessey and body notes of good Verdicchio.
