Deep purple Blackberry and spice, savoury and stalky Good balance and intensity, but lacking complexity. A lot more fruit, red and black fruit than 2018 Big tannins and long finish Cellaring for 15+

Oh this is quite St Joseph, green and black peppercorn, blackberry, chalky and earthy minerality. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, tight drying tannins, savoury blackberry, peppery spice, a little cream, oak is very much second fiddle. Lovely.
