Wonderfully aromatic with cherry, sandalwood and flowers. Exquisite balance with great acidity making it a great companion to food. Really enjoyed it!

L'ensemble est for invitant.

Slight reduction upon opening that disappeared quickly. Nose is full of a concentrated mix of raspberries and brambles. Digging deep you can find some menthol there as well. The taste is similar with a fresh deep, dark red fruity intensity that has a green streak on the end. Very well integrated, fine and drying tannins comes in before the woodsy herbal finish. Everything here is pretty close to medium (mouthfeel, acidity and tannins) except the experience which is very very …

Nose here is mostly savoury red fruit and fairly pronounced. I can't say it has that signature Envinate character i've found with their other wines but it's still quite lovely, and points readily to grenache. This being from the Spanish mainland, I do think it makes sense that it's entirely different from the ones from Tenerife. That said, this just tastes like cooler/earlier harvested and lighter extraction Spanish grenache like Comando G. Acidity is perhaps slightly lacking but still higher …

Very interesting wine. Abundance of red fruits in aroma along with a hint of bell pepper and some floral notes. Enjoyable tannins and mineral backbone. Overall a good food companion that can also stand out on its own.

A bit floral on the nose, like violet. Medium bodied with distinct, juicy fruit. Smooth tannins.

Pure dark berry fruit, juicy. But don't let the initial impression of fresh juicy style deceive you, follows with some sneaky structure and pretty prominent tannins on the finish. The fruit really makes this pleasurable for drinking now, but I think this will also hold up well and improve with a few years easily.

This pours light ruby in the glass with flecks of pink and purple. The nose leaps from the glass, but is only modestly complex showing plum, bright red cherry, red jujube candy, peonies, rose petals, and smoky crushed granite. The palate is light and elegant entering on the red fruit, turning to medium minus, almost low tannin, and medium plus bright acid. The finish is lovely with an almost grapefruit rind character. Lovely early drinking to be had here! This …

The scent is telling me that the wine has a couple of years on barrel, eventhough it has not. I really liked the scent! Taste of red berries like raspberries and the wine has a juicy style. The body is light and the acidity is medium.

Quite complex on nose despite both price and age. Offering ref fruit, raspberries, minerals like sea (maybe oysters) and tar. Body is quite light, acidity matching up nicely, tannins is quite low but for this type of wine I find it perfect despite beeing a sucker for tannins!

To start, I am not a fan of grenache, although I am sometimes surprised at some wines made with grenache. This one was not one of them. I found this wine to be heavy. I also had an after-taste at the very end of this wine that was not necessarily a pleasant taste to me.

Some beetroots, pomegranate and mediterranean herbs, with hints of pine. Tannic but not overpowering. Blind I probably would’ve guessed Southern France. Better with food or just some cold-cuts and olives.

Medium ruby, purple rim, fully translucent, fast-moving tears @13% abv. Medium(-) aromas of red fruit, slightly reductiv. Dry, medium acidity, low-medium(-) tannin, medium alcohol and ditto body. Palate of blackberry, blue plum, licorice, laurel. Good length with focused and fresh finish. Structure balances the fruit; fun to drink. Chill slightly when serving. 100% Garnacha tintorera. Vino de mesa extraordinaire: really quite nice.

Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #3 vor 2022 (Marbakkabraut 12) : Frekar ljóst. Sætur ilmur. Blóm, liljur, lakkrís, apótek. Hráir, óþroskaðir tónar. Í munni: Grænn pipar, græn paprika, krydd, gras, lauf. Erkidæmi um Miðjarðarhafsstíl. Tannín út um allan munn. Í mínum huga ekki neitt sérstaklega spennandi vín. Magnús fjallaði um það nánar og kom það víst mun betur út seinna kvöldið. Áhugavert er að þetta vín er að skora gegnumgangandi 89 stig á CT. Ég skil ekki alveg hvaðan þeir punktar koma.

Quite a lovely wine. Somber dark red fruits across the palate, and a deeper expression than some vintages have expressed. There's still some lively mineral presence, but the wine supplies a nice structure to balance out that brightness. Red, red fruits on the nose, a tobacco leaf and leathery finish (more pronounced in 2020 I think). Great QPR, and a lovely expression of clay-limestone Garnacha from the Mediterranean. I expect this too really shine in 3-4 years.

By the glass at Palm City Wines in San Francisco. Nose is bright cherries, fruit leather, lifted floral tones. Palate is similarly fresh, crunchy red fruits but with an earthy, brambly undertone. Very nice with a roast pork hoagie!

Fun Grenache. Some oak and tannins. Easy. Tasty. Would still go for the Lousas day in day out even with the price difference.

This is really lovely. Bought a wide range of the Envinate wines after enjoying a couple of cases of the 2015 Taganan Tinto and glad I did. PnP this and it does need a little (20-30 mins) air time. Nose was a little muted as perhaps served a little cold but the black fruit in the palate was good and not overdone. Lovely freshness and just a very nice wine at this price point.

Great QPR. Medium body wine wine green notes, not much oak. For the 20$ price range you cannot go wrong.
