Meneghetti Red

Decanted. This is a huge fruity wine, lots of cassis and some licorice. Lots of tannins on the palate as well as fruit. Very well made and a crowd pleaser, but again, a bit monolithic for me.

Decanted for an hour. This was a very plush, rich wine, lots of cassis and good dose of oak on top. The palate was also very rich, soft tannins, tons of fruit with a vanillary twist to it. Quite a monolithic wine, sure it's well made, but quite boring I must say. New World and international in style, where is Croatia in this bottle??
