Consistent with other notes - - A bit of burnt rubber when first opened that blew off quickly. Sweet floral notes on the nose. Very fruity and light bodied, fairly short but clean finish. Simple but elegant wine. Bring this to a dinner party when you need a "safe", affordable wine for those who are afraid of anything not in a box. Day 2 this wine has fallen apart - sour and acidic. Wow, pretty good QPR for $9. Dark cherry and chocolate. A little too sweet on the palate. Finish is okay. Yes, it is thin. Seems more feminine than a lot of other Morgons. Duboeuf does this wine pretty good. It's the first Duboeuf that I'd buy again. I'll be sure to check out the 2006. Imported by William Deutsch and Sons.

pleasant, well made beaujolais. A little on the thin side, but their is a decent amount of sour cherry fruit backed up by a good tannic backbone. Not much complexity here, but no complaints for this price point.

This wine was outstanding from the moment I opened it...the aroma was fresh cherries and blackberries. One sip and the fresh fruits on the palate wowed me. Well balanced wine that I will definitely buy more of.

Nice, juicy Beaujalais. Bright cherries make it fleshy and round, good fruit, little tannin. A very slight sour aftertaste. Overall, good gamay.
