Delightful. Drank with a simple family dinner of braised chicken thighs and roasted vegetables.

A big hit on Thanksgiving. This wine really sang with pure pinot nose and flavors. Medium bodied with velvety mouth feel. At its peak but should hold for a few more years.

Pinot taste and mouthfeel, with tar, bramble and berries. Raspberries in the nose and in the aftertaste. Slight heat from the alcohol at 14.2%. A pleasant medium-bodied wine to be enjoyed now, this will not likely improve with age.

Dark garnet color, over ripe and past its prime. Much more full bodied pinot that has a nose/taste of raisins/prunes. Saddened and disappointed.

Lovely bottle. 2nd night in a row of pairing PN with first of the season fresh halibut/chorizo. Great match.

No notes taken. Decanted 1 hr. Nice smooth PN with decent body and nice velvety cherry and cranberry with light spice and forest floor. Finish decent at about 50 seconds length. Not the top example by them in this bottle, but fine and reliable. Went well with smoked and then baked pork shoulder roast. The '00 Amarone had a bit more character IMHO. 90 pts. Always reliable classy moderate weight juice.

Drinking very well right now. Nice balance, definite cherry with some spice and earth in the back. Very enjoyable with food.

Tasted second day open and the last of six bottles consumed over nearly three years with the last note about 22 months ago. Still shows a bit of backbone but its days are numbered. The wine is in full cherry bloom right from the start with some cranberry and strawberry added to the mix. Nice touch of tea and moss in the mid-palate. Only the relativly short and simple finish detracts.

I liked the dried cranberry and plum, hints of raisin and spice, a little bitter on the finish.

Nice but not great. Comes together very well but nothing very distinctive.

Medium garnet red with a slight brick tint and orange rim. Aromas of ripe strawberry, Carmel and daisy. The wine was very smooth and well balanced with a medium finish. Flavors of ripe strawberry, white pepper and light presence of leather and mineral. Based on this bottle, I think that the time to drink this wine is now. The fruit flavors faded as the wine sat out. Half of the bottle was sealed and refrigerated overnight. In this time it …

Medium garnet color, better as wine opened up, more of a fuller bodied Pinot. Agree with vine20 comments.

Medium garnet color with a subtle red fruit nose. The fruit is dried and closed -- raisin, cranberry -- without the bright freshness associated with more forward pinots. There is a bit of tannin showing and, on the whole, the balance is quite good, but a subtle overall effect. This wine will complement many foods.

This was my last bottle and to me this wine has on the decline now. Nose still has some candy but the cola is fading. I found the heat showed more than anytime previous. Some earthy smokey notes. The fruit was more muted but there doesn't seem be be any complexity building. The tannins haven't softened much but with the other flavours becoming more muted they are showing more. Seemed like a touch of brett towards the finish but I …

Colour - Dark red, purple. Nose - Raisiny, almond. Palette - Fuller body. Almond, tannin, abit of alchohol. Abit of complexity. Needs time. And ... I have yet to taste a California pinot that holds a candle to a Cote De Nuits or Beaune premier cru, or even many Village wines. However, I will keep looking and tasting.

Just doesn't seem to have the presence I look for in a Pinot. Rather ordinary, bland, but not horrible.
