Gut Oggau, Emmeram, Weinland

Bright yellow. A strong scent of elder and sweet melon that goes into some rather opulent fatness. The taste is also marked by a pronounced sweetness, elder and melon. Not so much minerality which otherwise characterize Austrian white wine. The mineralitety has been replaced by a marked fatness. This is not a wine for meditation- it's a wine for food! And a wine that requires dishes with flavor! And as such it is excellent.
