Balthasar Ress Balthasar Ress Hattenheimer Nußbrunnen Riesling Spätlese, Germany, Rheingau

In the nose, fresher than the Schönborn Hattenheimer Pfaffenberg Auslese 1971 tasted in parallel, less Firne and more dried fruit. The mouth a little softer, less structured but still balanced. Overall, slightly better due to the better nose.

Sadly, the cork gave out the second I touched it with the corkscrew. Oxidized.
