White flower, apricot, Lychee. Medium to medium low acidity which make it feel even sweeter. Tho with a mineral saltyness at the back to balance out. Medium lasting at your mouth. Funny combination for Alsace

Light oxidation tones at start but then in the glass the oxidation disappears! Golden color, medium intensity. Nose: high acidity, medium + intensity, primary: apricots,lemon, lemon cest,, red apples, flint and herbaceous. Tertiary: light oxidation, dried stone fruit, Palete: mid alcohol, long finish, good balance. A masterpiece

2010 vintage

A pale lime green color. This is a classic Alsace-nose with a broader an fatter expression. Citrus and flowers rise from the glass while the palate offers a rich and taste with a slightly creamy texture. Unfortunately this wine also presents itself with high lifted alcohol touch and cheap perfume. Decent glass of Riesling but a poorly performed glass of Grand Cru… Move on…

2015 vintage

Lovely experience and it had gotten quite golden in the glass. Nose and first feel on the palate gave off a sweetness in the fruit with peach and apricot with a slight tropical hint, but then comes the citrus attack, green apple, pear and spices! Slight petrol/rubber feel in the back and on the finish with bitterness from lemon/lime peel as well, but the acidity and balance with the sweetness of the fruit is lovely. Beautiful minerality.

What a beautiful Riesling! This dry Riesling is very good indeed! Very aromatic, lots of flowers, citrus and a bit of petroleum. Long, crisp taste with nice and well integrated acidity. Had it with Coq au Riedling. A perfect match! The wine drinks very well now, but will easily last 10-15+ years!!Bravo!

beautiful riesling. Nose is complex, dominated by ginger, white flowers and a touch of petrol. the palate is dry but on the richer side (vintage effect), liquid rock, good freshness, round. it is super pleasant right now. I wish there was more acidity to make this one truly special.

Tasted at Hotel Les Violettes in Alsace. Pear, lemon juice and steely mineral notes. Not overly expressive but a nice and fresh palate with a creamy texture.

Sampled at Oinoscent The wine shows yellow green color. The nose is bright and clean, medium intensity with some petrol notes, fresh lime and lemon. The wine shows some sweet notes in the palate straightaway, rubbery notes, lemon, tropical fruit, medium to high acidity, medium body, easygoing. Very good quality

Robe jaune citrin tirant légèrement sur l’ambré. Nez fondamentalement minéral avec arôme de poires, ce dernier ne s’affirmera pas davantage avec le temps, au profit du caractère minéral. En bouche le vin est prêt, satisfaisant, long. Excellent partenaire d’un bon tartare! Rapport q$ très acceptable.

Here we go, wonderfully aromatic nose with citrus, minerals, petrol and some flowers. Confirms why Riesling is ultimately more interesting than Chardonnay. Wonderful freshness and mouth feel. 94-95

2015 vintage

It's fresh and fruity on the nose, with notes of elderflower, citrus, and minerals. Acidity is balanced on the palate, it's viscous, and has a lot of flavour to offer. Hint of minerals and petroleum. This is great now, but will develop over the next 10-20 years. The 2012 is a bit closed now, so I imagine that this 2015 will start peaking around 2025.

19th Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra) : a little kerosene and sulphur, sweet spice, peach, apple. Juicy, tangy apples and peaches. Long finishes a little warm. Hmm

In KL. Aired in bottle for an hour and drank over the next few hours. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs. Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of pineapple, ripe peaches, yellow flowers, rocky stones minerality, hint of petroleum. Developing. On the palate, seriously dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), full body. 2015 vintage

Great Riesling: clean apples, citrus and just a little bit perfume, good texture, bottle says 12 % alc but it feels fatter, excellent balance. This is the way I like my rieslings!

2010 vintage

Overall same notes as previous ones. Differences comes from the fact that I drunk it over 3 days and I used a Riedel Riesling glass this time. A bit more expressive on the nose and more developed (in particular day 3). Overall not outstanding, but very enjoyable.

Still young with some maturity notes. Expressive (citrus, a bit of petroleum, stony) but not as much as expected. Very high acidity suggesting good aging possibility.

Yellow hue. Bone Dry. Sharp attack. Almost perlant. Nice complexity and finish. Had with glazed salmon and fresh vegetables to which it went well. Will buy again and can definately recommend as a dry Riesling.
