Another bottle since 27 months ago. Medium yellow gold. Lemon, lemon peel, white flowers, hazelnut, honeycomb and minerality. Medium bodied, medium-high acidity, medium structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Complex, refined and voluptuous. Wine had improved and at prime now. Good concentration and well-balanced. Plenty of fruits and acidity and should age well for the next few years.

Citrus (lemon and grapefruit), ripe, energetic and fresh. Very good for the level, above the 2019 version tasted recently.

Quite similar to last time, pretty reductive but there is impressive wine underneath. Citrus, good acidity, flint, almond. Outstanding bourgogne blanc for the price and with a bit of upside.

Such high quality BB. Meursault blind. Flinty, some buttermilk, lemon meringue. Wish I had more

Score for drinking now. Quite reductive, good fruit and acidity, needs significant amounts of air to open up but there is beautiful wine underneath. This has upside and really overperforms!

Same notes as for the last one some weeks ago: citrus, a slight touch of barrel, good tension, like a baby Meursault. And indeed, the vineyard is very close to Meursault. As usual, very good for the level.

Lemon and grapefruit, ripe, nicely dense and with a good length. Had this over 3 days, no decline.

Buttery lemon and grapefruit on nose and palate. A touch of flinty reduction on finish. Not the most complex but nicely balanced.

Even better than last time. Gave it blind, everyone called village-level cote de Beaune from a good producer. Really overperforms.

This clearly performs as meursault villages. Ranks among the top BBs for me. Perfectly balanced fruit and oak. Medium ripeness fruit with great acidity - pear, apple, white stone fruits, buttermilk, freshly made butter, sweet brioche. Just beautiful. Good for another 3+ years at least

solid and powerful backbone here which was enjoyable thought largely without finesse. Still a tad reductive so decanting could be a good idea. Includes declassified young vines from St Aubin 1er Cru (you know the ones behind Edouard's house). Pair with food will be even more enjoyable.

Superb minerality and acidity with flavours of white peach and vanilla wrapped in a coating of drizzled butter. The finish is impressive, and equally the wine, for a relatively lowly appellation. CHP 91pts

Really like this bourgogne blanc. I actually prefer this over the meursault at this stage. Quite reductive, but blows off after 2 hours in a carafe. Toast, almond, hazelnut, flint, yeast, yellow and green apples and lemon.

Bright, high acidity, decent on the palate. A solid Bourgogne though not first class. Probably best in a year or two more

Under wax seal. Cork fell apart with entry of cork screw but seal otherwise intact. Nose has to be teased out and get lemon citrus, pear and cream. The taste profile was quite tart and zingy featuring lemon pear again with some flint slate notes. Freshness is there but high acidity suggests I took this one too young. Was also looking for more oak elements which were missing in my tasting.

Light yellow with green tint. Citrus, toasted barrel, nutty, popcorn and cream soda. Fresh acidity and balanced. Mid-palate was a little coarse but still well made for a Bourgogne level Chardonnay.

This is a very good Bourgogne Blanc. The nose displays citrus (more toward lemon) together with a splash of pear and a good amount of white fruit. A lovely little hint of vanilla as well. The palate shows very nice tension given its level and I feel that it stylistically it has a certain austerity that reminds me a bit more of St. Aubin. I think Jasper Morris described it quite well as “classic Jobardian austere tension”. Would be interesting …

A bit of initial reduction fades to reveal great lemon-lime intensity with some underripe green pear notes underpinned by a chalky foundation and bright acidity.
