Still very nice, but I got a lot more of the spiciness without much more of the complexity later on that I had with the first bottle. I wonder if the drinking window may be past its prime after all. Bam! This was a huge wine. I had a much different experience than the taster who said it was not tannic at all. Dark, rich fruit with lots and lots of spiciness. Super, super long finish, still opening up and expanding a full minute after swallowing. The vineyard's website said drink this by 2011 but I think this could have waited longer. Not a typical Cab. Very dark purple in color. Grape and cherry taste with touch of spice, leather. Not tannic at all. Fruit lingers on the tongue.
