This is a massive wine that is rather rough around the edges. What it really needs is a nice rare prime rib - the two are made for each other.

Heavy tannins, not quite integrated. Coming along but will need a few more in the bottle. My second bottle. No signs of corked or other issues as mentioned here. If it was a web purchase, often the wine gets cooked due to heat, transport, & poor storage.

I braced myself for something bad based on other reviews. My experience was better. Not an amazing wine, but decent. Dark red fruit, cherries, some blackberries. Some green and vegetal notes as well. Not a lot of balance.

Opened two bottles and both were flawed and undrinkable. Sadly, I have more bottles that I also suspect will turn out to be flawed. It appears the winery needs better quality controls.

The first bottle was corked. Opened the second bottle and poured. It would be a kind of ok bar Cab, but given its supposedly pedigree, this wine does not cut it. Over the top fruit, minimal tannins. Definitely need food to mute the wine.
