High end Champagne 2012 vs 2013, tasted blind (Bad Ragaz) : 100% Meunier, non-Blind. Served as aperitif. Fresh lemon with some white flowers, green apples, chiseled and racy without being lean. Does not feel like a typical Meunier, much less spices and bruised apples as with Chartogne-Taillet, Gamet or Bedel. Almost like a Blanc de Blanc with a touch oxidative wine making like in Jacquesson. Great purity.

100% Meunier, non-blind. Served as aperitif. Fresh lemon with some white flowers, green apples, chiseled and racy without being lean. There are also some herbal notes, red fruit, sweet spices and a touch of soy sauce. Medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity. Great purity.

Lovely Meunier nose with chalk and subtle autolytic notes. Fine bead with excellent freshness on th epaulet, with more chalk, lovely acidity, and snappy fresh fruits: ripe apple, rhubarb. Finishes bright and clean, very more-isa. Beautifully balanced light dosage. Drinking very well right now. I am sure it could age for some time, but it is in such good spot right now I am not sure I can think of a great reason to wait.

Champagne & Caviar by Atera (Atera - 77 Worth Street in NYC) : 100% Pinot Meunier which always makes this producer a bit different. Very crisp and a certain change up from the wines that came before. Great acid. There's almost like a flower stem (think tulip) note to it. And just a touch of tin. As I said, different, but it seemed to work.

Will be released later this year. 100% Pinot Meunier from the single parcel near the winery in Cuisles, from the lieux-dit called les Terres Fortes. 3 g/l dosage and disgorged 11/2017. Lots of mid-palate generous texture here, along with a mineral/tonic water quality, zesty and a good spine of acid. Finishes with some bread dough notes and light lemon.

(Disgorged November 2017, 100% Meunier, dosage 3 gr/l) Yellow colour with a youthfully muted nose at first. After some time in the glass to air and warm up it started showing notes of baked bread, citrus, ocean and mature yellow apples.
