Well gotta say I was impressed. Bought a few Norton's on our anniversary while in Hermann Mo 10 years ago. Was told to hold as they need time so here we are. Very nice wine that exceeded my expectations having never had an aged Norton. Not sure how to describe except a nice smooth dark red fruit with just bit of spice and well integrated tannins. This Norton is a sophisticated wine. Originally a North Carolina varietal, it has been very successful in Misouri around Herman. Adam Puchta is the oldest winery in the US still fun by members the founding family. The wine is softer than most Nortons but will continue to hold well. It is an excellent red meat wine. Great effort.
