Needs about thirty minutes aeration. No 95 pointer yet! Has dusty aromas of shoe polish, black raspberries, plums, cedar, cassis and gravel hints Its medium bodied spherical and fruity yet understated palate has got great delineation. Ends medium long with some protruding and gripping tannin and typical acidity. Needs food.

Nice eblue and black fruit profile with some chocolate and spice notes. Warming alcohol, but fairly well balanced. Nice finish.

A few South American wines : Medium ruby color. Aromas of bright red cherries and raspberry jam along with tobacco, cedar, anise and rose hips. Medium-bodied with light tannins and refreshing acidity, and it’s all balanced nicely. Raspberry jam and red plums mix with some loamy soil, cedar, mint and vanilla. Not deep or complex but a tasty, fresher style Malbec.

Decent wine. Good fruit, spice, and length. Excellent value but I'm still totally bemused by Decanter's score of 95 - I can't believe this is the same blend.

Lovely, but a bit rough right after opening. Give it 1-2 days to smoothen

Thin, sour cherry flavor with some subtle black pepper spice. Moderately acidic. Balanced and fresh enough to be a decent quaff or pair sufficiently well with lighter food, but lacking in complexity.

Inky purple. Fresh plums and sour cherries on nose, and wood. Lots of fruit on the palate, blackberry and cherry, good acidity. Very nicely drinkable. Great with stewed beef.

A 95-pt wine this is NOT. Leaner than most Argentinian Malbecs, with good acidity and a vegetal streak running through bright red fruits. Fine tannins, moderate length. I can see how it would stand out in an all-malbec tasting panel, but by itself, it tastes like a $12 wine.

Very purple. Very berry smell. On the brighter side of the berry spectrum. Smooth, with a touch of acidity. Subtle green apple notes in the taste. Good for the money, but I'm more of an oaky/rustic/earthy wine fan. So, it's a bit boring, by my standards.

(opened 24 hours ago) - color: dark purple crimson; nose: sweet oak and cherry; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, red fruit taste, medium-length finish w/notes of black pepper and some hot-tasting greenness, chalky tannins; overall: awkward & young as of Sept 2016 -- maybe better days are ahead?, finish tastes rough, needs time to breathe after opening -- it was *so* much better on Day 2

Okay malbec, not as heavy as some of them are, light oak influence. I prefer the stronger versions like Norton Barrel Select.

Nice nose - good fruit with vanilla, mulberry, spice, fragrance, and complexity, especially as it opened over a few hours. Palate shows sweet cherry, plum, damson fruit with soft vanilla and spice (again, it was more complex and interesting a few hours after opening). Damson skin and dark cherry skin tannins with fine Malbec acidity and good balance and length. Excellent with grilled steak and very attractive afterwards. I like it. Dark violet appearance with a plum nose. Too acidic with a dark fruit jam. I agree it may be too young, but I can't recommend this bottle at all.

It has hints of violet color and smells marbled and dark. Perhaps is was too young but it was weak tepid and sour with no body. Too much jam and not much else.
