Well integrated. Good to drink now, but will probably improve and good to drink for many more years.

Pours a dark ruby with pale meniscus - a very brooding color for Gamay. It is medium bodied. The nose is intense and ripe, almost like Syrah with mature black fruit, licorice, banana skin, and light black pepper. The palate however is a total shift, with beautiful tension of acidity and velvety engulfing tannins with a core of pure fruit. The finish builds and persists. Quite a big Beaujolais in body and power. Still quite young. Has like a whole bunch stalky note on nose together with minerally plummy notes on palate. Needs another 5 years still to all come together.

6 year old wine. Only light/medium bodied, but great palate with a bit of red/black fruit, forest floor and white pepper spice.

Lush and concentrated wine, would not have guessed Beaujolais, very Rhone-like wine. Dark fruits, spices, already very drinkable.

An tasty Beaujolais Evening (Wrenkhs Kochsalon, Hamburg, Germany) : More density as the "7 Vignes", well tight structured, energetic midpalate, black fresh cherry, some cassis, really long refreshing, young, *(**+?), around 90- 91+ potential
