We have been drinking quite a lot of this wine, and there is nothing to suggest we should stop now. Another year in the cellar has not affected the zingy freshness nor the vibrant citric acidity.

Deep gold colour . Golden Delicious apple, yellow plum and almond on the nose. Meyer lemon, apple and almond balanced by searing acidity on the palate. Decent length. Very pleasant fruit driven Chardonnay; very pure. Ready now and I do not think getting any better. Very enjoyable.

We're drinking our way through a case of this. Consistently high quality -- a very balanced chardonnay with more mineral than fruit, more Burgundy than Jura. The flavors are quite intense, so it can accompany more strongly flavored food.

More than 5 years since I had a bottle of this and forgot I had a half a case in the back of the cellar. Surprisingly, I do not think the wine changed a lot and if anything it has improved. This is a Jura chardonnay from Volnay's Marquis d'Angerville, which more closely resembles a Burgundy white than a Jura. Immediately identifiable as a chardonnay from the aroma, which is also evocative of the seashore, with a slaty salinity. To taste, the wine is lighter-bodied and rounder than expected, with moderate, nicely integrated acidity and a distinctive lime flavor, backed by some bitterness, and a chalky aftertaste. Superb. What a delight, a bit muted on open, but an hour later this was impressive with richness and length that was pure chardonnay pleasure. Great citrus/lemon, mineral, light yellow stone fruit, fine body with graceful palate as the richness melted away into a lingering, memorable finish. Really :) Served with sauteed soft shell crabs on pasta with fresh garden basil pesto and sautéed chard.

Excellent. Tropical fruit, great mouth feel. Drank with flounder filets in mustard cream sauce, butternut squash, peas and sorghum. Body and balance of the wine worked well opposite the acid of the mustard sauce and the slight bitterness of the sorghum Finished the bottle after dinner.

Grilla sitron, mineraler, epler, blonster og noe funkytoner på nese. I munnen: Grilla sitron, mineraler, grønne epler, noe gule epler, nøtter. Herlig syre attack, flott frukt bak og pen fatkarakter. Lang litt floral avslutning. 91-92 (Rundt bordet ble det gjettet 2016 sentralburgund, Puligny. Ingen gjettet Jura)

Bright and solid, and like the note below observes, not especially Jura in character. Some iron and mineral characteristics show. Quite enjoyable over three nights.

This is a beautiful Chardonnay. Not necessarily very Jura in character, which may not be a surprise given it's D'Angerville. The oak has integrated quite well now (though still very apparent), and the acidity is perfect (perhaps this is the Jura influence). This should drink well for 5+ years, but is very tempting to open now.

Da denne ble sluppet synes jeg den var i overkant vaniljepreget, men likte den litt fete stilen. Pelicanen har fått en annen fuglesang. Bakte sitroner i hopetall, mineraler, litt hvite blomster med noe nøtt i avslutningen. Slankere struktur enn tidligere, mere maskulin og lineær, og syren er utrolig lekker. Drikker latterlig godt nå, men blir nok bedre med litt tid. Smakte nylig 2016 og den minner om 2014 da den kom. Tipper den også blir bra etter hvert. 91-92

Bit reductive after opening, after 30 aerating in decanter it showed itself very well. Citrus, ripe green apple, peach, hint of matchstick, bit dominant oak, smoke and seashell minerality. Not an oxidative or funky Jura style like Tournelle, Ganevat but more Burgundian, which make sense with M'Angerville as proprietor. Blind I would guess something like PYCM.

White fruit (peach, apple, citrus), nice floral, pretty smooth, good acidity, lingering finish. Bright. Really enjoyable.

Closed with a Diam 10 cork. Pale straw in color with scents of lemon, mineral, and crushed seashells on the nose. The palate is framed by bracing acidity, flavors of lemon curd, pomelo, lime, and salt linger on the palate. This is a great wine and while it's not quite Chablis...it is lean and has a beautiful nose. Pairing perfectly with goat & sheep cheese...and later lobster & butter. Outstanding!

This wine exhibits a startling acidity; certainly I have never tasted a Chardonnay like it. Beyond the acidity, it presents a full mouthfeel, with hints of lime and pineapple on the palate. This wine should be served with fatty foods; jamon Iberico might be a good match.

First time I tasted this wine and I like it. Forward nose of ripe white and yellow fruit and lime with mineral notes. Great mid-palate, balanced and persistent.
