Clean, crisp lemony notes along with aromas of honeydew & grapefruit. On the attack the citrus carries through but there is also chalky minerality & fresh pasta. Medium+ acid and medium body - it was very soft & friendly. The sur lees ageing has really helped to deliver this rich mouthfeel. Now, I'm a fan of the huge oaky, buttery, delicious Cali Chardonnays - but this is an excellent contrast. Reminds me of a Burgundian Chard, but without the hard …
