Chateau de Fosse-Seche, Saumur, Arcane

Joli chenin, très bien évolué avec une belle énergie. Belle acidité, avec un côté métallique en bouche mais très agréable et salivant. Le vin est arrivé à maturité, il faudra le boire dans les 2-3 ans maximum je pense.

Très joli chenin, facile à boire, manque un peu d'énergie (acidité moyenne) ou de personnalité pour être marquant, mais il a très bien évolué sous le verre. Il ne gagnera rien à être attendu, on peut boire.

Apple and citrus, high acidity, long.

I was surprised (in a good way) to see so much tension here as I was expecting more richness because of the vintage. Probably needs a few years to gain a little weight and complexity this is already really nice. Hints of honey, lemon, white flowers and mineral. Velvety. Classic.

À la Tienne!; 12/4/2019-12/7/2019 (Paris - France) : Hawthorn flower on the nose with some chalk or candle wax. Too little to be mentioned. Excessively acid in the mouth, with a medium body that dissipates quickly. Next Please. Flor de espino en nariz con alguna nota de tiza o a cera de vela. Demasiado poco como para citarlo. Excesivamente ácido en boca, con un cuerpo medio que se disipa rápidamente. Siguiente por favor.

Sunday dinner wine. Opener this evening, shows very well. Very youthful stil, bury this in the back of your cellar if you want more than a very clean/precise/pure style of Chenin Blanc...

Small tasting glass @ VINEUM during service, so a brief note. Very nice Saumur Blanc by the two brothers Pire...This can probably age effortlessly, but is enjoyable now to with some decanting time and large glasses!

Delicious. Medium lemon in the glass, nose is neutral, palate is dry and medium + bodied, fruits are ripe, golden apple, stone fruits, nectarine, sweet citrus, notes of chamomile, notes of a rocky minerality leading to a long finish.
