Lots of reductivity on the nose that never really blew off after a 5 hour dinner focused on the wines of the Central Coast of California. Aside from that, there's some decent red fruit flavors here as well as hints of black pepper and dirt/earth. Oak is pretty restrained, which I like. Only Medium bodied...which I also like. I just wish it was less reductive.
