Red Newt Cellars Pinot Gris

Medium copper to orange in color. A very mild nose – mild honeysuckle and apple orchard. With a little more air, red apple and pear. Medium bodied, medium acidity, and overall very balanced with that little bit of R/S. Palate of honey, pear, nectarine. Medium length finish with a lot of weight, honey, nectarines, some floral notes and some saline. Not sure I would have pegged this as a Pinot Gris at first but very refreshing.
