A bit deeper color; nose shows good development, sharp edges have rounded out, sharp green pepper has turned into a more herbal almost stewed green quality, grapefruit a deeper and sweeter more orange quality, stone fruit emerging with apricot, and a slight green tea and honeyed quality to fruit showing age, on the palate the acids are still strong but have a lactic quality reminiscent of almost Chenin, nice mineral component; a very interesting point in its development, like it …

Impossible to score, incipient aging noted a year ago has turned the nose of this bottle into something with a bit of old sock to it, while the palate itself is rich with layers of aged citrus and mineral. Note the sock is not like old wool....opened, and thought phew, maybe it will blow off--not-- let it sit a night, finally said, hmm drinkable just a bit bent.

What Short & Confused said in 2018--spot on--and concur about energy level (without prior comparison, but still...). Lots going on and incipient aging/tertiary flavors blend nicely with intrinsic qualities. The 2014 is great qpr.

As before "Light yellow. Orange blouson, chalk and wet stone. The wine is juicy and at the same time quite refined. Orange citrus, ginger and chalk with great acidity and almost silky creaminess on the palate. Overall complex and also seamless. This stuff is just so impressive." I like my last description. Score down a tad- a little less energy? Look forward to returning to this wine.

Wine at the Lake (Lake Lanier, GA) : This really surprised me, the wine seems to have lost all of its sweet, youthful fruit and turned quite lean, chalk dust, gooseberry, and pomello pith, on the palate it quickly turns into jalapeno, still a great mid; ok but I had trouble getting past some flavors that I don't love.

Done in wood; Very pale color; more subtle nose, almost candy, great mid palate, long focused and deep.

Very vegetal - lots of raw broccoli and green bell pepper. Savory, cool and very green. Not to my taste. 13%, $30.
