Cantine Viticoltori del Veneto Orientale Pinot Grigio

Another thank you gift drunk over a day without great expectation but that showed very well. Produced (reading the small print off the bottle) for Aldi. Focussed à point grapefruit and melon, some green herb with a flinty minerality. Bone dry but in no way acidic. Straight forward but moreish. Ideally a food wine. Coming from Aldi probably represents good value (bonus point). Drink young.
