The appearance is very dark, almost completely opaque with a hint of higher viscosity from the residual sugar. The nose is as dark and juicy as the wine looks with sweet, dark-toned aromas of ripe blackcurrants, some freshly picked plums and blueberries, a hint of smoke and a touch of floral violet nuances.
