at the winery, deep black-red colour, lovely intense complex nose, classic Hunter Shiraz earthy-leathery character, medium body, elegant and fine but with great concentration, good length and persistence, nice, great potential over 15+ years

Grrrr. Why am I the first review of another wine? Get the lead out, you Cellar Tracking swine. The Thin Man should not be asked to scout the ground. Be that as it may, this wine is the real deal. This wine breathes regionality, variety and it speaks to the history of Australia's oldest wine region from the successor to one of the country's oldest family wineries.
