Oregon Trip Day 2 (Wilamette Valley) : Full red color. Nice black fruit and green pepper nose. Nice black fruit on the palae with a balanced structured finish. If I recall they said that most of the fruit for this was trucked in from Washington.

This bottle needs a few hours to open up, but once it does there is a lot there. Dark fruit at the back of the palate, tomatoes and peppers at the front, tannins on the finish. Very good for $20.

"Tillie-tillie, trali-valie, eto my ne prohodili, eto nam ne zadavali." Russian children song. Drinkable and was worth the 20 bucks. Good compliment for the Russian style pan fried pork with onions.

My wife enjoyed it much more than I did. For me this wine tasted like 2004 Two Bucks Chuck Merlot, and I don't mean it as an insult.

Opened not decanted. Tasted at the winery. Quick notes: too sweet for my palate black fruit notes with a dry finish. Seemed a little flabby. Fair.
