Over dinner, no detailed notes. Yeasty with notes of brioche, ripe yellow stone fruit, minerality on the nose. Very fine perlage. Bright and vibrant on palate without being lean. Generous fruit with good length and depth. Excellent stuff. Drink or keep.

Beautiful and clear color with a green a tint. The wine appears with a fine bubbles. The nose is dominated with fresh Citrus fruit, white flowers and bread/doughy notes. Intense but fresh and vibrant. The Pinot Blanc gives a razor sharp edge to the taste with great acidity along complex mineral notes from the legendary Bürgel vineyard (no wonder Klaus Peter Keller’s legendary spätburgunders from the same vineyard has earned it’s reputation from it’s terroir). Once again, this is fabulous stuff. 100 % pinot blanc of very high quality, from the Bürgel vineyard in Dalsheim, Rheinhessen, also known for Keller's pinot noir. I am happy that I opened it well in advance, for it took more than an hour for it to shed the oxydative earthy notes. My first full bottle try of this one, 100% Pinot Blanc, 90 month on the lees, disgorged 02/22, from a single vineyard right next to the estates buildings, animating dry on the palate, clean purity rules the palate, zesty still, some lemon, white peach, even grape fruit, great structure, deep and firm, but again, bloody young, great QPR at 36€ ex estate, **(**-?), around 92(+- ++)
