Losada Vinos de Finca Mencía Bierzo Folklore

Drunk cellar cool. Dark ruby colour, nose of red and blackberry juice with a whiff of charcoal. The palate is delicious with wonderful ripe raspberry and blackberry, black cherry and blackcurrant with a lovely balance of gentle tannins and tons of acidity to leave the mouth wanting more. Not drunk loads of wines made from Mencia but this is the best one I've had. A great alternative to a Cru Beaujolais and £15 a bott from Majestic
